REGENERATIVE COMMUNITIES
Performance art took center stage in this year’s focus on art’s role as a regenerative community. Visual artist Signe Vad curated a two-part program that activated FABRIKKEN’s large production hall, bringing together artists, local actors from Sundholm, and guests in an exchange of resources and conversations, facilitated by selected performances.
During the Open House from 3-6 PM, four performances were re-staged in new settings by artists Eliyah Mesayer, Jonas Okholm Jensen, Jessie Kleemann, and Mycelium. These performances originated from the series Pythias Stemmer, curated by Kræ Syndikatet. The event created a dynamic space for reflection, interaction, and artistic exploration of regeneration.
For the first time, the Open House concluded with a collective performative long-table dinner. Under the theme Regenerative Communities, performance art became a focal point for conversations and inspiration, inviting guests to explore regenerative thinking through artistic engagement.
